I see all ministry as done in partnership with the congregation.
I value a sense of humor, especially in relation to congregational life. I laugh easily and often.
A ministry of presence can help people feel seen and known. I believe that we are in religious community because we want to feel known both by the divine (by whatever name we know it) and by one another.
I would like to be a voice for progressive values in the larger community. I know that there are people who desperately need to see a minister who loves them and speaks up for them, and I want to be that voice for love.
